The gallery has an exhibition area of 1,000 sq. meters – and its own framing workshop.
Galerie Moderne Silkeborg has exhibited artists from the Cobra movement since 1962, and was the only gallery in Denmark to have direct contact with these artists.
In spring 2006, Galerie Moderne Silkeborg opened a new gallery in Amsterdam, at Nieuwe Spiegelstraat 44. More info here...
Galerie Moderne Silkeborg has exhibited at the ART COLOGNE show in Germany since 1994.
We also exhibit at the ART AMSTERDAM art show in Amsterdam.
… And naturally, at Art Copenhagen and Art Herning each year. In Galerie Moderne Silkeborg, we arrange 6-8 shows a year, and a similar number of exhibits in other galleries and museums in Denmark and abroad.
